“CONTRIBUTE where you can” is our second core value. We believe that serving is an act of worship, so we encourage everyone to find a way to get involved at least once per month. Our heart is that you find CrossRoads to be a safe place where you can belong, heal, and grow. When you serve at CrossRoads, you are partnering with us to make this possible for others.
Do you know what it takes to make a Sunday service happen at CrossRoads? Check out this video, then look below to see all of the teams that are at work every weekend before 9:30.
How can I help?
Kids Church
Serve in one of our classrooms (nursery, 2's, 3's, Pre-K, K-3rd, 4th-6th) as a teacher, small group leader, teen helper, or outside the classrooms as a ministry coordinator or event planner!
Set up/Tear Down
Before every Sunday service, we set up chairs, pipe and drape, tables, and more to get things ready for people coming to church. Then, we put it all away at the end of the day, ready to go for the next service!
Community Group Leader/Host
CONNECT with a community group is our third core value. If you are interested in helping lead one of our Community Groups we encourage you to get plugged into an existing group first.
Prayer Team
Join us as we pray for CrossRoads services, needs in our community, and the world. We believe that prayer has an impact!
Special Events
Are you a planner? We could use your help putting together events like CrossRoads Night Out, Love Your Neighbor, and others for our church!
Worship Team
Can you sing? Are you basically John Mayer? Audition for CrossRoads Worship! We are always looking for electric guitarists and drummers.
Graphic Design/Social Media
Have experience in marketing or communications? Do you look at our social media posts and cringe? Help us expand our digital reach and bring the Gospel through our media!
Hospitality - Coffee
Do you enjoy our coffee on Sunday mornings? Help others stay awake during our service by keeping the coffee pots full and hot!
Hospitality - Greeting
Everyone loves being greeted by a friendly face. Help our visitors feel welcome by being the first person they see when they walk in the Peosta Community Centre on a Sunday morning.
