Summer Jam 2021

Hey CrossRoads Families! We are looking forward to having some fun with your kiddos this summer that has a little of something known and something new- Summer Jam 2021! Each month is a stand alone event, but we do need you to register your child for one or all of the Summer Jams.
Registration cuts off the week before each Summer Jam.

What is the "new" Summer Jam?

What will go on at the "new" Summer Jam?

Crossroads started a scaled down version of Summer Jam last summer when our Kids Church wasn't meeting. The kids loved it so much we realized we need to keep this going...but let's make it bigger!

This summer we are going to offer Summer Jam once a month on the second Sunday of June (6/13), July (7/11), and August (8/8) from 6-8pm.

This time we reserved the entire Peosta Community Center so we can have more kids join us. Did we mention it is a FREE event?
Don't forget Registration cuts off the week before each Summer Jam.
We promise as always to keep your kiddo safe! We want Summer Jam to be a place that the kids learn about Jesus, learn some songs they can take home with them, and play some fun silly games. Each month is different so your kiddo can come to one or all of them.
Summer Jam will be a time of fun interactive:
  • Live worship with our Youth band
  • Teaching from our Kids Church teachers
  • Fun games
  • Each month will be FUN!

Who is Summer Jam for?

Summer Jam is for to kiddos going into first grade through kiddos going into 5th grade, but want them to feel free to invite their friends. We will share the gospel each month as a part of our fun teaching time.

Can parents help?

Yes! We would love to have you help us make this event great! We have two levels of serving for you to consider:
The  first level we need includes:
  • Greeters
  • Check-in volunteers
  • Set up and tear down
  • Volunteers to put together each months' materials.
The  second level is for people in the room with the kids. Since the volunteer will be in the room with kiddos we will follow our normal vetting process (quick application, background check, and conversation with our Community Life Pastor) to ensure we keep our kiddos safe (always a top priority). These serving opportunities include:
  • Games
  • In-room chaperones
