The Bible Recap (TBR) follows a chronological Bible reading plan and provides a short daily video recap by creator and host, Tara-Leigh Cobble. She’ll highlight and summarize that day’s Bible reading in a casual, easy to understand way. The Bible Recap comes in several forms—book, podcast, or video. Each day’s Bible reading is about 12 minutes long and each recap video is about 8 minutes long.
The Bible with Nicky and Pippa Gumbel is a daily bible reading plan from Alpha (a discipleship ministry) that will take you through the whole bible in one year. It’s for anyone looking for a simple, structured way to read the Bible. Each day is broken down into short, bite-sized readings: one Psalm or Proverb, one Old Testament and one New Testament reading, alongside commentary and practical insights from Nicky and Pippa.
This daily bible reading plan from Biblica (The International Bible Society) will give you all the benefits of a steady diet of God’s Word as you read through the entirety of scripture in one year. This reading plan is organized into 365 daily readings, including an Old Testament passage, a New Testament passage, and a Psalm or Proverb for each day. There is no commentary provided alongside this plan - only the scripture reading.
