Welcome to Crossroads Kids

Welcome to Crossroads Kids! We exist to partner with parents to raise kids who love God, love people, and make disciples of Jesus. When you arrive on Sunday morning you can be confident of two things:
  1. Safety and security is our top priority. We take several steps to ensure your child's safety while they are in our care. All volunteers have been thoroughly vetted through an extensive background check and trained by qualified staff members to ensure that safety is a top priority. We also use numbered name tags to make sure the person who dropped off your child is the one picking them up. Finally, we have onsite security to make sure people with good intentions are the only people in the Crossroads area.
  2. We do not do child care, we do Kid's ministry! The same God who speaks and moves in the lives of adults is active and working in the lives of children. We ensure that the content on Sunday mornings is Biblically based and age appropriate to help every kid know that they can spend time with God, spend time with others, use their gifts, and share their Jesus story.
We split classrooms up by stages of development to ensure that every kid is ministered to in a way that they will be impacted the most. Find our classroom breakdown below.
Nursery (Birth-2 years old)
For us the nursery is about more than just the joy of holding babies. We see this as a time to start showing the love of Christ to both kids and parents. We want you to be able to join in corporate worship knowing your baby is being cared for. We engage kids with developmental toys and worship music to provide the most calming atmosphere possible.
Pre-K (3-5 years old)
Starting at 3 years old we want to engage kids with activities that will help learn about God and how much He loves them. We engage them with worship music, a Bible story, and an interactive activity to re-enforce what they learned.
K-2nd Grade
Your kids can expect energetic worship, an engaging lesson, and an age-specific small group discussion time. These combine to create a healthy environment for your kids to engage God and prayerfully make a decision for Christ.
3rd-5th Grade
Your kids can expect energetic worship, an engaging lesson, and an age-specific small group discussion time. Starting in 3rd grade we allow kids to serve in other areas of Crossroads Church if they are accompanied by a parent to help develop the spiritual habit of service to God and others.

Welcome to Crossroads Youth!

Crossroads Youth is designed for any student in 6th-12th grade. We meet from 6-8pm at the Peosta Community Centre. These nights exist to help middle school and high school student be equipped to love God, love people, and make disciples of Jesus. Wednesday nights consist of food, energetic games, worship, a message from the Bible that is relevant to the lives of teenagers today, and small groups that are broken up by grade and gender so students can discuss the message and how to apply it to their lives. We also encourage students to participate in the life of the church by serving and attending service on Sunday mornings.

Crossroads Young Adults

Crossroads Young Adults is a place for 18-29 year olds to be equipped to love God, love people, and make disciples of Jesus.
During the school year we meet on Monday nights from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Blades Hall at the University of Dubuque.
